When we were waiting in the line ready to go through to the concert, we were very nervous. When we were walking through everyone was wanting to turn back until we saw primary 7 come out the door with   a smile  on their faces. When we got on the stage everything went well and hopefully it will go well on Thursday.

Sorry we’ve been so quiet this term. We have been very busy working and preparing for our anniversary week. We will keep a diary this week to share our week with you.

Monday – Dress Rehearsal for our concert.

The Primary 7’s started the show with a catwalk about what people were wearing in 1982 while Forehill School was being built. Most pupils enjoyed this and thought it was funny. Lauren would not mind wearing the fashion but I disagree.

The Primary 2’s part of the show was about Forehill being built. They sang Bob the Builder which everyone thought was amusing.

Then the Primary 1’s came on stage and talked and sang about their first day of school. One of the P1’s was Miss Munro and she was good at acting the part. Cuddles and Joe were also in the show!

The P3/4’s told us about and acted out some different games they play in the playground. Lauren and I thought the skipping was impressive.

When the Primary 3’s jumped on stage they did the Locomotion which they were quite experienced at.

P5/6 acted out explorers learning their lesson of how we should look after the wildlife and nature. They wiped out all the animals, trees and fish in order to survive. They were luckily found in the end.

Primary 5 did a short play about the staff in Forehill School. The two boys playing the janitors were genuinely funny, especially to the teachers!

Primary 4’s told us about different things that happens to the community like the PTA and the Before and After School Clubs. Many different people use our school.

Then P7 came back to sing two songs called “Shine” and “Ramalama Ding dong” from Grease! Lauren and I liked it and we thought the costumes were funny and really good.

Then our class, Primary 6, came on stage saying, acting and singing about the future of  what schools will be like. We also sang Starman at the end of the show. Jake and I both enjoyed performing and liked the costumes we had to wear.

Then everyone in the whole school came into the hall and we all sang “We’re all in this together” from High School Musical. We think everyone enjoyed doing this and can’t wait for the real concert to start.
